Our Science Holiday Camps offer primary school children an exciting opportunity to dive into a world of scientific discovery in a fun, inclusive environment. With a creative, enquiry-based approach at the heart of every day, children are encouraged to explore, experiment, and engage with a range of fascinating topics and hands-on themes.
Each camp is led by our team of highly trained Mad Scientists, passionate Science Communicators who go above and beyond to make science unforgettable. Your young scientist will leave not just with new skills and knowledge, but with a big smile and lasting memories.

Something for Every Young Scientist — Our New Camp Options
At Mad Science, we know that curiosity doesn’t come in one size. That’s why our Holiday Camps now offer three exciting experiences tailored to different ages and stages:
🔬 CORE – Our ORIGINAL Camp Format. Suitable for All Ages!
A dynamic, mixed-age experience for children aged 5–11. Perfect for siblings and friends to learn, play, and explore science together in a fun, inclusive environment.
🧠 EXPLORERS – Designed for Upper KS2 (ages 8–11), this option offers deeper dives into scientific concepts and hands-on challenges to inspire the most curious minds. Full-week bookings only.
🧪 LABTECH – For our seasoned Mad Science alumni aged 11–13: step into a leadership role! Assist our Mad Scientists, help run experiments, and take on new responsibilities behind the scenes.
Available at all Core Camp venues. Limited to 2 LabTech spaces per week.
