Please note that we will not be privvy to this password and will be held securely.

SEN / Medical / Additional Support
Please ensure that your profile is up to date and has all the relevant information we need to ensure your child
can get the most out of their time and experience at Camp. The profile can be updated with any relevant information via your ipal account.

Nut Free Zone
All our camps operate as a Nut Free Zone* please avoid packing nuts or nut based products in lunchboxes and snacks.
We have attendees with severe nut allergies at many of our locations and we would like to actively reduce this risk.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

* Whilst all precautions are taken to ensure No Nuts are used in any of our Mad Science content, and parents are advised to avoid packing Nuts into lunchboxes,
we do not guarantee a 100% Nut Free environment due to factors beyond our control, a risk assessment should be made accordingly.

Medication
Mad Science staff are not authorised to administer medication or drugs of any kind.

Any regular medicines which are needed to be taken during your child’s time at camp will need to be self administered where possible.
If assistance is required or they are unable to administer themselves, we kindly ask that a parent or authorised adult be on hand to assist.
All medicines must be signed in with the instructor at registration so we are aware of what is on site.
Please provide in a sealed container with name & DOB for identification.

Sunscreen
Similarly, we will be unable to apply sunscreen for the children.
This will need to be applied before arrival to ensure coverage
and if needed the children will reapply during the course of the day.
Sun hats and suitable clothing are advised to ensure children are protected.
Water bottles may be refilled on site.

Lost Property
Please ensure all items of clothing, lunchboxes, drinks bottles are labelled with child’s name.
We are inundated with lost property left at the end of each camp season, and would like to try and minimise this where possible.

If your child has left something behind, fear not, contact the office as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to find it.
Contacting us during the week is best as its likely that any Lost Property will be collected from the venue and brought back to HQ at the end of the week.
Returning items from HQ may incur postage.

Please be advised that any unclaimed items from this Summer’s camps
will be donated to a local charity if not reclaimed by 30th September 2026

Devices, Personal Items & Valuables
Our camps are positively bursting with plenty to keep your child busy, active and engaged during the day.
With this in mind, we actively discourage bringing any additional personal items, books, games, cards etc to camp.

This is to avoid any loss or damage, and reduces any issues amongst attendees.
Please leave any valuables at home.
We will not be responsible for any loss or damage to valuables brought to camp.
Devices are not permitted during the Camp day.

If your child requires a phone or device to contact you or collectors during camp this can be brought along on the day,
but we kindly ask that these are kept in their bag during activities to avoid disruption and distraction.

Again, we will not be liable for any loss or damage to devices brought to camp.

BREAKS & USE OF ADJOINING PARK AREA – Please Read Before Booking
Due to the limitations of the indoor space at this venue, and to support active, outdoor play, children will be taken to the adjoining park area during scheduled breaks and selected activity sessions. Please be advised that the park is open to the public during our use.

All outdoor activities will be fully supervised by our staff, with appropriate staff-to-child ratios maintained at all times. The park area will be subject to routine risk assessments, including daily checks and ongoing dynamic assessment to ensure conditions remain suitable and safe.

By completing your booking, you provide consent for your child to participate in these supervised outdoor activities within the adjoining park area.
