The tallest tower wins

FREE WEEK at Mad Science Holiday Camp

In the case of a tie, structure, creativity, & tape usage will decide the winner.

Like in real life, with finite resources, you’ll need to get creative to maximise your potential. With only 6 sheets of paper and 15cm of tape, think about how you can utilise these elements to get the most out of them. Here’s a few things to consider

  • Which way is my paper longest?
  • How can I strengthen the paper?
  • It’s tall, but its toppling over – how can I support it?
Think about how you can cut, manipulate or shape your paper. How different shapes can provide strength and structure to your tower.
It’s all good going for broke on height, but you’ll need to make sure its standing tall long enough for you to snap a photo and get it measured.

Best Tip: Get the whole family involved – There might be hidden insights your missing.
